Mississippi Library Commission art exhibits

During the months of July and August, pottery created by Jim Anderson, former director of First Regional Library, will be on display at the Mississippi Library Commission. In addition, paintings from MS Artists Colony members will be on exhibit.

You are invited to view the exhibits Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Library Commission Building at 3881 Eastwood Drive, Jackson. On July 31, 2008, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., the agency will host an Artists Reception. The public is invited.

    Jim Anderson: I am trying to locate a potter named Jim Anderson from Nesbit, Mississippi. His wife was a librarian at Horn Lake High School. Is this the same Jim Anderson? If so, could someone give me some contact or website info. I absolutely love some of his work.
