Hewlett (People in the News)

A reception for Carol C. Hewlett was held in January at the Ina Thompson Moss Point Library and was open to the public with refreshments served by the Friends of the Library. The library board recently appointed Ms. Hewlett as library director of the Jackson George Regional Library System.

Her community involvements include: Rotary Club, C.A.N.D.Y. (Citizens Against Needless Death in Youth), River City Cultural Foundation, Moss Point Women’s Club, P.E.O., and advisory committees for the Moss Point School District. Former memberships include Moss Point Active Citizens and Moss Point Celebrations Committee.
