Eudora Welty Library Literary Landmark and Celebration of the Re-opening of the Eudora Welty Library
Come and join the Friends of Mississippi Libraries, the Jackson/Hinds Library System, the Jackson Friends of the Library and the Mississippi Library Commission in dedicating Mississippi’s ninth Friends of Libraries U.S.A. Literary Landmark — the Eudora Welty Library! The date will be June 22, 2009 at 10:00am at the Eudora Welty Library, 300 North State Street in Jackson!
Celebrate the sights and sounds of Eudora Welty’s Centennial with Readings from New Stage Theatre, Rebecca Jernigan – Mississippi Telling: Eudora Welty (Mississippi Humanities Council), Remembrances of Eudora Welty, and Celebrate Eudora! —with activities designed for the youngest readers!
