MLA Poster Session Committee Welcomes Proposals
The MLA Poster Session Committee welcomes proposals for the upcoming annual conference to be held in Vicksburg, MS (Oct. 20-22). Poster sessions offer the library community an opportunity to feature:
- valuable projects or programs
- innovative services provided to patrons or employees
- research that is of interest to the library community
During the session, presenters are strongly encouraged to be available to answer questions, but are not required to be present for the entire time period. To apply, please submit a concise abstract that summarizes your idea and provides a description of any visuals or handouts. Abstracts should be no more than 250 words and should include the names of all authors and their institutional affiliations. In a separate paragraph, please note any equipment or special set-up requirements including the need for an electrical outlet. The deadline for submissions is June 11. Selected presenters will be contacted shortly after the review process is complete.
