Government Documents Roundtable (GODORT)

Government Documents Roundtable (GODORT) provides a forum for discussion of problems and concerns, and for the exchange of ideas by librarians working with government documents. Provides a force for initiating and supporting programs to increase availability, use, and bibliographic control of documents. Contributes to the extension and improvement of education and training of documents librarians. Increase communication between documents librarians and anyone interested in government documents. Library Instruction Roundtable (LIRT)

Library Instruction Roundtable (LIRT) provides a forum for discussion of activities, programs and problems of instruction in the use of libraries, contributes to the education and training of librarians for libraries as an essential library service, and serves as a channel of communication on instruction in the use of libraries. New Members Roundtable (NMRT)

New Members Roundtable (NMRT) helps members better understand the library profession and its issues, provides an early opportunity for involvement in MLA, promotes comradeship among NMRT members, encourages participation in library organizations, and serves as common voice for the members of MLA-NMRT. Technical Services Roundtable (TSRT)

Technical Services Roundtable (TSRT) unites in one group Mississippi librarians and others interested in activities related to the acquisition, identification, cataloging, classification, and preservation of library materials, and provides an opportunity for interchange of ideas and the discussion of problems. Two Year College Roundtable (2YCRT)

Two Year College Roundtable (2YCRT) promotes regular meetings for the exchange of ideas, and encourages professional growth and development at the local, state, and national levels. See the bylaws for more information.

Young People’s Services Roundtable (YPSRT)

Young People’s Services Roundtable (YPSRT) provides a forum for discussion of problems, concerns and the exchange of ideas by young people’s librarians through workshops, conference meetings, newsletters, etc. Contribute to the education, training, and professional growth of all those who work with young people.
