Conference Cancellation Policy

Cancellation / Refund / No-Show Policy

Cancellation requests must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to the MLA office. Phone cancellations will not be accepted. Cancellations received 14 days prior to the start date of conference are eligible for a refund of the registration fee and ticketed meal events fee. No refunds will be provided for cancellations received after that date. No-shows will be billed for any unpaid registration fees and unpaid meal ticketed events. Refunds will be distributed after the conference.

Medical/Illness Cancellation

If an individual cannot not attend due to illness, a substitute may attend in his/her place with a written or email notice.

Reselling Tickets

The registration desk is not responsible for reselling unwanted meal ticketed events. It is up to the individual to resell his/her ticket at conference. An announcement board is placed near the registration desk to facilitate transactions.
