Black Caucus

Black Caucus encourages and increases membership of African Americans and other ethnic groups within the Mississippi Library Association, and promotes and sponsors special programs focusing on concerns, special interests and needs of the African American community.

MLA's mission is to provide professional leadership for the development, promotion, and improvement of library and information services and the profession of librarianship in order to enhance learning and ensure access to information for all.
