Nominating
Purpose: To select a slate of names to be nominated to fill the elective offices of the Association in accordance with the Bylaws.
Duties:
Duties:
- Select and secure consent of persons to be nominated along with photo and biography for Mississippi Libraries.
- Present names selected in writing to Executive Board at December meeting.
- Publicize the nominees and the nominating procedure in Mississippi Libraries, along with the Nominating Committee members.
- Present the slate of nominees for offices to the Election Committee.
